The trend in the Industry recently has been for national companies and management groups to supply communications products to Hotels and Commercial clients via a central purchasing model and sub-contracting local services. In most cases this has led to a limited commodity type service with a generic result and less than desirable service levels. Our goal at Peterson Communications Group has always been to regionalize our business. This allows us to provide more customized, non-commodity type services for our customers. This approach has allowed us to be more involved with the properties in all areas of their communications needs including cabling, data applications, training, consultation, and on-going support for departments such as catering departments with their clients. We act as project manager to get to the bottom of service issues even if they are not phone system related, i.e. Property Management Systems and Point of Sale issues or IT issues within our commercial customers.
