Big news! PFN is pleased to announce the promotion of Emily Poirier to the role of Operations Manager!

Since joining PFN, Emily has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results for both our customers and our organization. In her role as Project Manager, she has successfully led complex initiatives, coordinated across teams, and ensured projects were executed efficiently and effectively.

As Operations Manager, she will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Project Management department to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery. Future initiatives will focus on cross-functional programs within PFN’s overall business operations. This role will include overseeing operational workflows, facilitating cross-functional coordination, supporting project ex*****on, and driving process improvements to strengthen overall efficiency and organizational performance across the business.

This promotion reflects both Emily’s contributions to date and our confidence in her ability to lead in this next phase of growth for PFN.

With more than 20 years of experience across fiber, wireless backhaul, data centers, and carrier networks, Sam will lead PFN’s expansion strategy, identifying and developing large-scale infrastructure opportunities that build on efforts like Project IMPACC, PFN’s $87M investment expanding resilient fiber routes across Michigan, including beneath Lake Michigan.

As a network provider trusted for mission-critical communications, including Michigan’s NG911 network, PFN is now focused on scaling its platform beyond traditional regional builds. Sam will play a key role in shaping what comes next.
