Sometimes you just have to say yes before you know exactly how you’re going to do it.

This project with Bs & Gs Dairy Crest started early 2026. We talked, planned, adjusted, planned some more… and then somehow here we are, down to the wire, getting this food truck finished just in time for Applefest this weekend. 🍎

And whew. This one pushed me.

It challenged me. It made me learn new techniques, figure things out as I went, and spend a lot of hours making sure I got it right. There were definitely moments where I questioned whether I had bitten off more than I could chew.

But that’s the thing about being a one-person business.

There’s nobody here to tell me, “Yep, you can do that.” There’s also nobody here to tell me, “Maybe don’t.”

I’m the one who gets to decide when to say yes or no.

And I’m really glad I said yes.

Not because it was easy. It absolutely wasn’t.

But because growth usually isn’t hiding in the jobs you already know how to do. Sometimes it’s on the other side of a project that makes you a little nervous, forces you to learn something new, and has you Googling things at 2am.

So this is your reminder — whether you’re building a business, learning a skill, or just trying something outside your comfort zone:

Keep pushing yourself. Keep learning. Keep growing. And sometimes, say yes before you’re completely sure how you’re going to pull it off.

You might surprise yourself.
