Westminster Early Learning Academy has been caring for kids in Grant County since 1970, and their whole philosophy is that play IS the work. With six locations across northeast Indiana, children 0-12, and a team that shows up for families in a really genuine way.

We built them a full brand suite: a hand-drawn logo with multiple lockups and colorways, three sub-brands for Play, Wellbeing, and Faith with their own icons and badges, a pattern, a color palette, type system, and a set of applications from business cards to signage to apparel.

The mark itself came from a close series of working sessions with the client and their specific vision, three trees that form a W, and each one drawn as a different building block shape.

Additional design support for internal documents, collateral pieces, and a fresh website followed afterwards, all with “Play is Our Work” as the leading mantra.

Helping a place like this show up as warmly on the outside as it feels on the inside is our favorite kind of project.
