🍎🍂 Fall gets me thinking about apples—and how pretty they look on a charcuterie board!

I love putting together different flavors, colors, and textures, and apples are such a simple way to add a little fall to the table. A crisp apple slice, a good piece of cheese, and a cracker… that’s my kind of snack! 🧀

These pairings caught my eye, so I wanted to share a little inspiration with you. **Tip: Soak your sliced apples in Lemon-lime soda for up to 10 minutes, pat dry and add to your board to prevent browning for a longer period of time.**

Apparently, I’ve decided to adopt three jars of flour and water and worry about them like they’re children. 😂

My sourdough starter has been very stubborn about rising. I’m seeing a few bubbles, so today I divided it into three jars, gave each one a fresh feeding, marked their starting levels, and tucked them somewhere warm.

Now we wait to see which little science experiment decides to cooperate! Follow along—hopefully this eventually turns into a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread instead of a very expensive collection of flour jars. 🍞

I don’t know about you, but Olive Garden breadsticks just aren’t the same as they used to be. Ours were so bland that nobody wanted the leftovers—but I couldn’t throw away six perfectly good breadsticks!

So, I turned them into crispy Garlic Parmesan croutons instead. They’re perfect for a ranch salad, soup, or sneaking straight from the pan. Sometimes the leftovers are better than the original! 😋

My number one happy place will always be wherever I’m with my husband and my dog. 🤍

But this is definitely one of my others! Give me an old piece of furniture, some paint, and a little creativity and I’m happy. My craft room and kitchen are right up there too.
