We’re proud to support STEM education and the next generation of innovators! 🚀

Our team recently served as judges for the Engineering & Design Championship (EMDC) hosted at Minnesota State University, Mankato. This Rube Goldberg–style competition challenges students in grades 5–12 to design and build complex chain‑reaction machines. Putting creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills into action.

The championship brought together top student teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, showcasing impressive ingenuity and engineering thinking.

A big thank‑you to our Nortech judges, Dave Schoenbauer, David DeBelser, and Jerome Taylor, for sharing their time and expertise. We’re excited to continue the support of learning experiences that inspire future engineers and innovators.

June is Pollinator Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the essential role that pollinators play in maintaining healthy ecosystems and securing our global food supply. Bees, butterflies, birds, bats, and other pollinators are vital for the reproduction of over 75% of flowering plants and nearly 35% of global crops. Without these incredible species, many of the fruits, vegetables, and nuts we rely on would not exist. Unfortunately, pollinator populations are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. By supporting local initiatives, planting pollinator-friendly gardens, and reducing chemical usage, we can all contribute to protecting pollinators and preserving biodiversity. 🌼🐝
