October is jam-packed with reasons to celebrate, and this one was a highlight!

Cate Heaman and Kristen Riley had a wonderful time celebrating Vicki Lam and Promo Victory's Legally 18 Celebration this week.

We are so grateful for our relationship with Vicki and her incredible ability to bring our visions to life. She is an amazing partner and an even better friend.

Vicki's message hit home: your clients' trust in you is everything, relationships matter most, and tomorrow is not guaranteed. Words to live by in business and in life.

Fun fact from the night: Vicki once had a goldfish named Goldie who lived to be 19 years old. That's unreal! 🐠

Everything we celebrated at our 10-year anniversary was built by the people in this photo.

They bring decades of expertise to every engagement. They stay with a carrier dispute until it's settled, find the right vendor solution for every client's needs, and pick up the phone at all hours because they care. As Cate told the room when she called them up on stage, "This is who Prelude is."

This team has been through a lot together. They leaned in through a pandemic that rewrote every plan overnight, helped launch our services practice, and earned recognition as a Best Place to Work along the way. Through every challenge and every win, they've shown up for our clients and for each other.

A special thank-you goes to our Prelude party planning team, who brought the vision for the night to life and poured their hearts into every detail. We also thank every past member of the Prelude team. You helped make us who we are today.

Together this team holds more than 300 years of collective experience, and we're only just finishing the opening act. Prelude 2.0 is already taking shape, and as Cate told them on stage, "Stay right here, because you're the ones building what comes next."

Okay, we can't believe we haven't shared this one yet! We didn't forget, we promise. It's just been a very full season at Prelude.

Our Chief Commercial Officer, Bob Healey, joined the Telarus Partner Advisory Council at Fall PAC 2026 in Nashville, an invitation-only forum that brings together the channel's top advisors, suppliers, and Telarus leadership.

The council dug into the good, the bad, and the ugly from the field, explored several next-gen technologies, and swapped best practices across the partner community.

For our clients, that means earlier visibility into supplier roadmaps and sharper guidance when it's time to evaluate technology.

To the friends and family who believed in Prelude from day one: you listened, you brought the w**e, you showed up at every holiday party, and you cheered us on through it all. In Cate's words, "That's love. Prelude love!"

Ten years ago, on October 1, 2016, Prelude Solutions opened its doors as a women-owned, independent technology and telecom advisor. Last week we celebrated that milestone with many of the people who made it possible, including so many of you.

More than 150 clients have trusted us with their business, and we've found them an average of 33% in technology spend. More than 500 vendor partners stand with us, most through our partnership with Telarus. Along the way we earned a Philadelphia100 Hall of Fame induction and a spot on the Inc. 5000, gave more than $500,000 back to charities, and received the recognition we're proudest of when American Water named us their Supplier of the Year.

A big thank-you to the partners who made the night unforgettable. B-Side Events planned it all, The Vue hosted us beautifully, and 12th Street Catering kept the food and drinks flowing. Famous 4th Street Cookie provided the favors, Vespa Balloons brought our Rosie decor to life, and Bill Hence kept the dance floor full.

As Cate put it, "Technology makes us faster, but people make us Prelude." Here's to the next ten. 🥂

Prelude Solutions is officially re-certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) through WBENC and as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). We're now entering our 9th year as a certified women-owned business, and we're just as proud today as we were the first time.

Being a women-owned business isn't just a label for us. It's part of who we are and how we show up for our clients, our partners, and the community that has supported us along the way.

A huge thank you to WBEC-East and WBENC for their continued partnership, and to our clients who choose to work with a certified women-owned advisor. We couldn't do it without you.

Ten years ago today, Prelude Solutions was founded on a simple promise: to be the advisor our clients could trust. Not a vendor. Not a salesperson. An independent partner sitting on their side of the table.

Looking back on this decade, what we're most grateful for isn't a number. It's the people.

To our clients: thank you for inviting us in, for trusting us with your technology and telecom portfolios, and for letting us be part of your teams. Every assessment, every recommendation, and every dollar of found budget started with that trust, and we never take it for granted.
