We are proud to announce that Darlene Reese has been selected to serve on the Standards Development Committee for the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Chosen through a competitive process, Darlene will represent the for-profit sector alongside a globally diverse group of leaders from nonprofit, government, and private organizations. As the leader of Ellis and Associates' IACET accreditation since 2012, she brings deep expertise in standards-based education and training to this important work.

In this role, Darlene will help shape the future of the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard - the benchmark that defines how high-quality training programs are designed, delivered and evaluated worldwide.

She will contribute to the technical development of the standard, participate in formal review and consensus-building, and help ensure alignment with leading practices in instructional design and adult learning.

For decades, the aquatic industry relied almost entirely on human observation to define what drowning looks like. Through hundreds of thousands of data points collected by Ellis Aquatic Vigilance System® (EAVS®), we’ve learned that this picture is often incomplete.
