What is Net Neutrality? Net Neutrality is about a free and open internet. If Ajit Pai, new chairman of the FCC has his way, our ability to share information and visit our favorite sites will change forever. Subscribed to a streaming service, like Netflix? How would you feel if your ISP blocked or restricted your access to those streaming sites, or forced you to pay an additional monthly fee to them just to be able to access them? Sound ridiculous and infuriating? Well, its happening. If net neutrality ends, your ISP will have total control of what sites you can access. They may lock certain sites/domains behind a paywall, or block them altogether. However, there is something you can do about it. Sign the petition, protect a free and open internet:

Urgent! The new Chair of the Federal Communications Commission is trying to kill net neutrality.

WARNING! If you use the popular program CCleaner listen up!

If you have downloaded or updated CCleaner between Aug 15th - Sept 12th of 2017 from its official website, your computer has been compromised. CCleaner is a popular system cleaning/optimization program created by Piriform and recently acquired by Avast. Security researchers from Cisco Talos discovered that the download servers used by Avast to let users download the application were compromised by some unkown hackers to distribute malware inside CCleaner. "For a period of time, the legitimate signed version of CCleaner 5.33 being distributed by Avast also contained a multi-stage malware payload that rode on top of the installation of CCleaner,” says the Talos team. An estimated 2.2 million users have been affected by the attack, and Avast Piriform believes it was able to prevent the breach from harming customers. “Piriform believes that these users are safe now as its investigation indicates it was able to disarm the threat before it was able to do any harm,” says an Avast spokesperson.

Just in case, if you are still using version 5.33 you should immediately update to the latest version via the official website, and run a virus scan to be sure:
