🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Some photographs remind us of the people, moments, and memories that mean the most.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with those facing breast cancer, those supporting loved ones, and everyone honoring someone whose journey has touched their lives.

At The Camera Company, we believe photographs help us celebrate the connections that matter most. đź’—

Let’s keep showing up for one another, sharing our stories, and spreading awareness.

📸 CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT: Photographers from Click & Capture

It's always wonderful to connect with our customers beyond the camera counter!

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting Ashok and his wife Swathi, photographers who shop for camera gear and rentals at The Camera Company. It was great to meet them in person and share a moment at this special community celebration. ❤️

At The Camera Company, we're grateful for the photographers who choose us for their gear and rental needs. Thank you, Ashok and Swathi, for being part of our photography community!

Reframing Life 📸

Sometimes, a camera is more than a camera. It can be a reason to step outside, notice the beauty in an ordinary day, and see the world from a different perspective.

Through photography, we may discover new places, meet new people, and find meaningful moments in unexpected places.

Life doesn't always change overnight. Sometimes, it begins with simply learning to see things differently.

What has helped you see the world in a new way?

One of the most common things we hear in the store is, "I know my camera can do more I just don't know where to start."

If that sounds familiar, our Canon Camera Basics class is for you.

Join us on Thursday October 22, from 5:30–7:45 PM as we walk through your Canon camera together and help you feel more confident using it. We'll cover camera modes, focusing, white balance, metering, file types, and more in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting where questions are always welcome.

Whether your Canon is brand new or you've had it for years, you'll leave with a better understanding of your camera and how to get the most out of it.

Cost is $50 (plus Eventbrite fees).

There is something so great about vintage camera looks and film simulation in a digital package. The OM-System’s OM-3 and Nikon’s Zfc offer amazing photo quality in a small, stylish package. 🎞️📸

The OM-3 is a testament to OM / Olympus’ longstanding, innovative legacy. Inspired by its iconic predecessor, the Film OM-1, it seamlessly blends Olympus’ heritage with modern engineering. This little camera has a metal body with weather-sealing to truly untether yourself from everyday life and embrace new adventures. Through the new Creative Dial’s Color and Mono modes, you can choose from eight distinct, film-like profiles to match your vision. The Colour Creator mode allows you to craft unique monochromatic looks and fine-tune colours to suit your exact preferences. Art Mode brings all the art filters into easy access. 🌟

The Nikon Zfc is the smaller, crop-sensor version of the Nikon Zf. Like it’s full-frame sibling, the Zfc was designed in the spirit of classic Nikon film cameras. Designed for the user who does a little bit of everything, this camera has 20 Creative Picture Controls, all visible in real-time while you shoot through the viewfinder or Vari-angle display. Now, filters are part of the vision rather than an afterthought for both video and photos. 💫
