August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to remember those we have lost, acknowledge the grief carried by families and communities, and stand alongside people whose lives have been impacted by overdose.
At Ventus Rex, we believe technology is ultimately about people. Innovation can connect us, expand access to information and resources, and help build stronger, safer communities, but meaningful change also requires compassion.
Overdose can affect anyone, in any family, workplace, or community. Today, we encourage everyone to lead with empathy, challenge stigma, learn how to recognize an overdose, and know how to respond.
We remember those who have died.
We support those who are grieving.
We stand with people who use drugs and people in recovery.
And we believe every life is worth saving.
