The TTU student chapter had a wonderful opportunity to meet Dr. Eui Yang and gain insight on how interdisciplinary user experience teams operate. Eui presented what UX practices are currently used in industry and discussed how we can leverage our academic and human factors backgrounds. She also offered valuable advice on how we can stand out in the hiring process and what intern and junior level UX researchers should expect in their role. Thank you Eui for taking the time to talk to the student chapter about UX and usability!

At the 67th Human Factors and Ergonomics Society International meeting, the Texas Tech University student chapter received gold status for the 16th year in a row! Students had the opportunity to present posters and network with professionals in the field. Additionally, it brought the TTU community together as chapter members were able to connect with alumni who shared their knowledge and experiences in the field.
