If you haven't heard yet steam Gamers there is a possible security threat of games getting hacked, at the server level, and then you and your computer being hacked by a simple update to a game you could have had installed for 6 months 12 months 38 months. absolutely wild! Personally that doesn't sound like something you can just know what not to click and stay away from 😂. In the last video I discovered that a customer's non-booting brand new computer was due to some accidental bending of CPU socket pins on the motherboard. I was able to get all of these pins straightened out carefully under a microscope, and got the motherboard working! it recognizes the cpu! Now it's time to put this custom PC back together, get it booted up for the real first time, and you know get like windows installed and a bunch of like nerd optimizations and removing of Windows spyware etc etc 🤣

I love encouraging people to try and put together their own computers and fix their own tech! But rookies definitely do make mistakes you know? 🤦‍♂️ bummer that my customer accidentally bent the cPU bed pins on the motherboard, now I got to try and straighten them out under a microscope or its whole new motherboard replacement time! Wish me luck! 🤞

When liquid damage strikes! This time somehow all the way behind the display screen panel in the connector what the what?! Anyway, new screen display, new screen cable connector, all installed in this Dell laptop is running just like new. Actually the display was a little bit of an upgrade so I think it's a little bit better color image and brighter, but anyway if you got a broken laptop screen hit me up!

Don't spend money you don't have to, and don't get frustrated having to set everything up brand new if you don't have to either! Nine times out of 10 it's totally worth fixing the broken screen on a laptop whether it's windows, mac, or Chromebook.

When your computer crashes in the middle of streaming a game, you say screw it do a factory reset and it still won't even get through that, so you bring it into the Revival TechGuy! Turns out windows change to how nvme m.2 ssds with no dram chip communicate with the ram to use it as storage drive cash, so I updated the firmware and got a fresh install of Windows all set up, and everything seems to be running great now!

just another day cleaning up a laptop and getting a report for a client that needs their bank accounts turned back on after a remote access scammer attack scare! These darn scammers are ridiculous out here

If your PS5 is choked up with this much dust, or maybe you had it up right, very likely causing your overheating problem! Service it yourself, or if you're not that kind of person bringing into someone like me Scott your Revival TechGuy and I'll get it all serviced tuned up maintenance cleaned out refresh the liquid metal cooling compound , keep the machine flat from now on and you'll be great!

Don't let your Xbox series X or PS5 get this dirty! It just makes it so hard for them to breathe, which then causes overheating and can create permanent damage! So if you don't want to take it all apart and clean it out yourself, bring it into me I am Scott your Revival Tech guy. this one is an HDMI fix, so after I replace that Saturday HDMI port, I'll be replacing the cooling paste and cooling putty with some better aftermarket material.
