This is not that smart.. the patch ports need to go! Look at all that space taken by the patch ports! The patch ports introduce most of the problems anyway. There could be network appliances and servers in those spots instead of needing more space elsewhere. And this “innovative “ idea is even more dumb. Most of the lines coming into the rack already exceed 100 feet and now these guys add probably an additional 5-6+ feet with their idea.. just put some ports in the back of the switch, and terminate the line directly into the switch from the back. And then only need a few backplane ports on the front of the switch to tie it into the main network. The line can have it’s identifying label wrapped around it in the back. No need for useless patch panels anymore that take up valuable space in the rack..

Not that much “innovation” or “breakthrough”… Really, switch technology is capable of having ports in front and in the back of a 1u rack-mount… and save space in the cabinets by just plugging in the cables in the back and the cables in the front could be fewer and so way less cabling; more space in the cabinet.. Can’t we get past needing “patch ports”?

You may ask, how is it legal or possible for these websites to sell OS licenses so cheap?? The reason they can is they buy thousands of licenses in bulk and at bulk prices and turn around and undercut any competition selling them retail slightly above cost. That’s if they legitimately purchased the bulk amount.. Even a Facebook sponsor can be selling licenses or keys illegally. A few years ago, even I fell for a scam from a Facebook sponsor claiming to have refurbished MacBooks. Prior to that scam, Facebook did all they could to not allow frauds to sell through the platform.

Be cautious on here, y’all..

This is the Speedtest results with this new cellular router I’m testing while driving through Pearson Chapel and Austonio.. This is not normal usually out in this area.. Check out that 23 Mbps upload!!! Can barely achieve 1 Mbps with any other provider..
