Thanksgiving prep is underway 🍂, and we decided to let the AI help out in the kitchen.

We asked it to "dress the turkey." It checked its pattern database and... 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳. 👨‍🍳🦃

It's funny on a holiday table. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗜.

Generative AI is great at patterns, but it struggles with 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁.

GenAI sees the word "Dress" and guesses "Outfit."

Neuro-symbolic AI understands the 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀: In a kitchen, "Dress" means "Prepare." (Just like in a hospital, "Dressing" means "Wound Care," not "Putting on an apron").
