Our company has an immediate opening for a Combination Technician.

Job Description:
Install and maintain outside plant (OSP) copper and fiber optic, wireless facilities, and associated OSP telecommunications equipment. Install Direct buried cable and other facilities using plowing, digging, and trenching equipment. Install demarcation devices at customer premises. Locate buried copper and fiber optic cabling. Installs, maintains, and services customer premises equipment, installs FTTX, DSL, as well as wireless Internet. Also performs initial wiring or rewiring for new subscriber systems. Explains equipment, services and answers customer questions.

Essential Job Functions:
-Installs new services and equipment for subscribers by installing drop wires, station protections, network interface devices and wireless equipment. Wires new systems using appropriate tools.
-Maintains and repairs existing equipment.
-Determines necessary repairs which may include repairing wiring, station protectors, ground connections, running new wires and replacing jacks, lids, pedestals and wireless equipment as needed.
-Completes all installation and repair related forms and reports.
-Installs and maintains equipment for diversified telco services including wireless and fiber services.
-On-Call Rotation.
-Must be able to climb a ladder and other structures as needed; uses bucket truck when required. Lifts and carries loads of at least 75 lbs.
-Promotes a positive and professional image of the company to customers, co-workers, contractors, Management and others.
-Perform all other related duties as assigned by Management.
