🎉 TODAY WE CELEBRATE 23 YEARS! 🎉

On October 1, 2003, Performance Computers opened for business in Bosque Farms. Today, exactly 23 years later, we're still here serving Valencia County — and we're getting ready for the next chapter.

A lot has changed since 2003.

Computers have changed. Technology has changed. Our services have grown tremendously. We've moved locations, expanded what we can repair, and grown from traditional computer repair into phones and tablets, advanced hardware repair, data recovery, custom computers, business IT, managed services and much more.

Through all of those changes, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to taking care of our customers and doing the job right.

And now, after 23 years as Performance Computers, we're beginning a new chapter as PC-NM.

It's a new name and a new location in Peralta, but it carries forward 23 years of experience, relationships and trust built right here in Valencia County.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, recommended us to a friend, trusted us with an important computer or device, called us when something went wrong, or relied on us to keep your business technology running:

Happy Labor Day from Performance Computers / PC-NM! 🇺🇸

Labor Day is a good reminder that our community is built by people who get up every day and make things happen — tradespeople, small-business owners, teachers, healthcare workers, first responders, construction crews, technicians, and everyone else who keeps Valencia County moving.

We've been fortunate to serve this community since 2003, and this year Labor Day feels a little different for us as we settle into our new home in Peralta.

The new sign is finally up, and we're looking forward to many more years of keeping technology running for our neighbors and local businesses.

Tomorrow marks another milestone for us.

After many late nights, long days, and a lot of hard work, **PC-NM, LLC** is officially opening our doors at **2474 Bosque Farms Blvd.**

This building has quite a history. Many longtime residents know it as the **old Peralta Post Office**, and we've tried to preserve as much of that character as possible while giving it a fresh new life. Instead of covering everything up, we spent countless hours cleaning, repairing, painting, restoring windows, replacing weather seals, and making the building welcoming again. There are still a few finishing touches ahead of us, but they won't affect the services we provide—we're ready to help you beginning tomorrow morning.

I want to say **thank you** to **Mark** and **Francesco** for the time they've spent helping with this move. It's been a bigger project than any of us expected, and every bit of help has made a difference.

I also have a favor to ask.

If you remember this building when it was the **Peralta Post Office**, or if you happen to have any old photographs of it, I'd love to see them. I'd like to learn more about its history and preserve those memories for future generations. Feel free to post them in the comments or send them to us.

When I started this business in 2003, my goal wasn't simply to fix computers. It was to build a business people could trust. Technology has changed dramatically over the past 23 years, but that goal hasn't.

Whether you've been with us since the beginning or are just discovering us, thank you for allowing us to continue serving our community.

**Part 1 – Every Journey Has a Beginning**

As we prepare for one of the biggest changes in our company's history, I thought this would be a good time to tell you the story of how we got here.

This picture was taken back in 2007. Looking at it brings back a lot of memories.

If you look closely, you'll even notice we advertised computer tune-ups for $39.95.

Today, we've changed that. We now provide basic in-shop computer tune-ups as a complimentary service because we'd rather help our customers keep their computers running well than wait until they become bigger problems.

That pretty much sums up how our company has evolved.

When I started Performance Computers, LLC in 2003, my goal was simple: treat people honestly, solve their technology problems, and never recommend something they didn't need.

Over the last 23 years, that philosophy hasn't changed.

What has changed is technology.

Our customers don't just need computer repair anymore.

They need secure networks.

They need reliable backups.

They need remote support.

They need someone who can help keep their technology running instead of waiting for it to break.

That's one of the biggest reasons we're becoming **PC-NM, LLC**.

The name is changing because our company has grown far beyond where it started.

Over the next several weeks, I'd like to take you behind the scenes and share that journey with you—where we've been, what we've been building, and where we're headed next.

Some of those stories will be about computers.

Some won't.

But every one of them has helped shape the company we're becoming today.

A chapter that began over 23 years ago is coming to a close.

From our first home office in Bosque Farms in 2003, to our first retail shop, to Los Lunas, we've been fortunate to serve tens of thousands of customers, families, and businesses who trusted us with their technology.

This Friday will be our final day at our current location.

It's a little bittersweet, but we're excited about what's next.

Over the next few days, we'll be sharing more about the future of our company and where we're headed.

Technology support has changed a lot since we opened in 2003.
We still repair computers, perform data recovery, replace screens, and do micro-soldering and component-level repairs every day.
What has changed is how we help our customers.
Years ago, most technology problems started when something stopped working. Today, many issues can be detected early through Managed IT services, proactive monitoring, cybersecurity, backup solutions, and remote support.
We've spent more than 20 years helping customers recover from technology failures. Sometimes we've recovered everything. Sometimes we've had to deliver news nobody wants to hear.
That's why we're expanding our focus from repairing technology to helping prevent problems before they happen.
Our goal is simple:
Keep your technology running.
Protect the information that matters most.
Help prevent problems before they become emergencies.
We're also introducing Mobile On-Site Technology Maintenance.
Many services can now be performed right at your home or business. By scheduling customers together by area, we're able to provide routine maintenance, inspections, cleaning, upgrades, and other hands-on services that simply can't be done remotely.

Technology support doesn't always require a trip to the shop anymore.
