SHOP DROID
EP. 1 — NO ONE APPROVED THISMeet Monty. 🤖⚡️

Our newest employee at Mercury Magnetics.

His qualifications are questionable.
His confidence is not.

First assignment: patrol the shop.
Result: absolutely not. 😂

Second assignment: help with production.

He grabbed the smallest choke we make and discovered something very important about Mercury iron…

It’s heavy. 💪🧲

Eventually Monty made his rounds, inspected the shop, wandered through production, contributed almost nothing… and somehow became everyone’s favorite
new hire.

The robotic future is here.
I think we’ll be okay. 😎

This one’s getting the spa treatment. 🛁⚡️

A seriously oversized Mercury transformer taking a nice long soak before we send it out to make trouble. 😎🔥

Andrew Raharjo, this one’s for you, ! 🤘

Big iron deserves a little pampering. 💪🔩❤️

When Paulo in Brazil 🇧🇷 reached out wanting one of our Mercury Magnetics Super Duty power cables, we figured, sure… how hard could it be to send one little red cable to Brazil? 😎

Well, Brazilian customs had other ideas. The first package actually made the trip down there… and then came all the way back to us. Round two finally succeeded, and Paulo sent us these fun shots of the cable hooked up to his Marshall.

But the best part of the whole story has been getting to know Paulo along the way. He’s been incredibly gracious, even inviting us to visit São Paulo and offering to host us. His brother apparently has a place in beautiful Paraty too!

So now I just need to explain this to our new GM Bryan:

“Boss… I need to fly to Brazil 🇧🇷 to see a client.”

Strictly business, of course. 😂

Thanks, Paulo, for your persistence, your friendship, and for giving our little red cable a very cool home on the other side of the world.

Welcome to the Mercury family, my friend! 🇧🇷🇺🇸🤘🏼

A rare sighting in the wild… 👀

*** SATIRE ALERT***

The elusive 🤍**Arctic Snowbell** 🤍

Seen here in its natural habitat, surrounded by transformers and miles of colorful wire.

Much like the snow leopard, sightings are rare. Most people have heard stories. Some claim to have seen one. Few have photographic evidence.

Notice the brilliant white coat, allowing it to blend seamlessly into absolutely nothing inside a guitar amp. 😂

Scientists remain baffled.
We approached slowly, took this photo, and backed away before disturbing it.
Please do not attempt to feed the transformer. ⚡🎸

LOOK WHAT ROCKON SHAWN BROUGHT TO THE SHOP TODAY! 🤘🔥

Our good friend Shawn Lininger, aka **Rockon Shawn**, stopped by Mercury today to deliver this absolute BEAST of a cabinet for our NAMM 2027 booth.

Shawn is the man behind **Troubadour Amps**. He came out to visit us at NAMM last year, and since then we’ve had a blast working with him, designing and supplying Mercury transformers as he develops his amps.

Now he’s coming back to NAMM with us!

Shawn worked with Eminence to develop these speakers with one goal: a flatter response with the punch and air moving impact of a real half stack.

As Shawn put it, it still has to **push air and hit you in the chest like a half stack.** 🤘
Two 200 watt speakers and one seriously badass Troubadour cabinet.
We can’t wait to crank this thing up!

**NAMM 2027... LOOK OUT, DECIBEL POLICE!** 😎🔊

Thanks for making the trip, Shawn. Great having you at the shop today.

**ROCK ON!** 🔥

Red, white, and LOUD. 🇺🇸

A little peek inside Ashpond Amplification’s MV120, and goodness, that blue chassis looks sharp!

With EL34s delivering 120 clean watts, this American take on a vintage Matamp style circuit brings serious gain and dynamic response. A deliberately darker voice keeps things sweet when the volume gets big, with premium parts from input to speaker output.

And those Mercury transformers? We’ll let you folks guess which ones Ashpond picked. 😉

Thanks, Ashpond, for sharing the bench photos and trusting our iron. We sure love seeing what you build with it.
