Incidents like this point out the very inadequate security of Zoom. The back door is wide open and easy for hackers. Since Covid-19, Zoom has served as a free, stop gap online videoconferencing service for businesses, education and government. We need a better platform that delivers greater privacy/security and a far better user experience.

Other online gatherings of college students have been disrupted by messages of hate during the coronavirus outbreak.
