Another legendary pair finding its next chapter! These magnificent Klipsch La Scalas are packed up and heading off to their new home in the high desert.

There is nothing quite like the effortless efficiency, dynamic punch, and raw presence of a fully horn-loaded cabinet. They carry that live-performance scale that turns an entire room into a concert hall.

Some exciting new arrivals at Rewind. 💙🎶

Recently, Julie reached out to us about a collection she was ready to part with. After talking through the details, we made arrangements to visit her and pick everything up in person.

We love this part of what we do: meeting people, hearing the stories behind their gear, and finding a new home for pieces that have been enjoyed and cared for over the years.

Everything made its way back to Rewind safely, and we are excited to go through it all and see what is next. 📦✨

Some audio collections are about far more than just the gear. 💙🎶

We recently took in a collection with a really special story behind it, and it reminded us why this way of listening has always mattered to us.

Edgar was an aerospace engineer, pilot, and lifelong music lover. He and his wife, Terasa, loved hosting friends for wine, ci**rs, good food, and great music. 🍷💨

For those evenings, Edgar made custom mix CDs tailored to the room: The Big Chill, 1970s Rock, Disco, and more. One friend even created a custom jewel case using a photo from one of their gatherings as a host gift, capturing a snapshot of a great night with good friends. 📀📸

Gathering your favorite people, pouring a drink, and putting on a hand selected playlist without distractions... that is the kind of hospitality we love and the kind of listening culture we are proud to be part of.

Edgar built his system with the same care and precision he brought to his life. Every piece was chosen thoughtfully, and the music was always meant to be shared.

We are so grateful to Terasa for trusting us with Edgar’s collection. We cannot wait to see these pieces find new homes where they can do what they were meant to do: play music and bring people together. 💙

Just in: JBL Stage 240B Bookshelf Speakers. 🎶🔊

Don’t let the size fool you. These little JBLs pack a lot into a very small footprint.

The Stage 240B is a 2 way design with a 4.5 inch Polycellulose ribbed cone woofer and a 1 inch anodized aluminum tweeter tucked into JBL’s Next Generation HDI™ waveguide. They are rated for 20 to 125 watts and have a 6 ohm nominal impedance.

Perfect for a smaller stereo setup, desktop system, or even as surrounds in a home theater.

Sometimes you just need a great little pair of speakers.

How we spend our downtime at Rewind. 😂🎶

Sometimes it is listening to records. Sometimes it is testing gear. And sometimes it is an old iPod, a game of Solitaire, and five minutes to kill.

Before our phones did absolutely everything, the iPod Classic was the ultimate little time killer, music, Solitaire, Brick, and that satisfying click wheel.

Fresh on the floor: a matched pair of Parasound HCA 1201A High Current Mono Power Amplifiers.

Designed by legendary engineer John Curl, these compact monoblocks pack a lot of amplifier into a surprisingly small footprint.

Each amp handles one channel, giving your stereo system dedicated amplification for the left and right speakers. With 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms and plenty of current on tap, they are a great option for speakers that like a little extra muscle behind them.

And we love the size. Half width monoblocks give you plenty of flexibility when building a system, place them near the speakers, on a shelf, or wherever they make the most sense in your setup.

Talk about a major dose of nostalgia! 📀✨

A great client reached out to us about their collection, so we drove right over to pick up a nice batch of vintage LaserDiscs, and we could not be more excited.

Beyond the massive 12 inch jacket art, the coolest part might be the old school Blockbuster Video stickers still sitting on the sleeves: "To PLAY is human. To REWIND is divine!" Safe to say we fully agree with that motto around here 😉.

LaserDisc was such a wild, fun era for home video, combining vinyl scale jacket art with optical video playback. Seeing titles like The Bridges of Madison County and Beverly Hills Cop III complete with rental tags takes you right back to Friday nights at the video store.

Headphones... or earspeakers? 👀🎧

Fresh on the floor: the legendary AKG K1000, complete with its original wooden display box. 🪵✨

Calling these "headphones" almost feels wrong.

Designed in Austria, the K1000 uses fully open air drivers that sit just in front of your ears rather than directly on them. And the drivers can be angled to change the presentation, moving from a more direct sound to a wider, more speaker like soundstage.

It is an incredibly unusual approach to personal audio, and one that has made the K1000 a true icon among headphone enthusiasts.

And then there is the power requirement. With 120 ohm impedance and 74 dB sensitivity, these are seriously demanding headphones. They were designed to work with dedicated high current headphone amplifiers or, using the appropriate cable, an amplifier speaker outputs.

This particular pair comes with its original wooden box and is ready for a proper audition at Rewind.
