Tesla just started testing virtual queues at Superchargers. The largest charging network in the world is recognizing what is becoming obvious across the industry: more hardware alone does not solve the utilization problem.

But a virtual queue is still a queue. It may help manage congestion at a busy station, but it does not give a driver confidence that a charger will be available when they need it, where they need it, on their schedule.
