A behind-the-scenes look at the color-matching process to match an original painting to a giclee "pigment" print. Test strips are printed and laid on top of the original to attempt to match the vibrance, tone, and hues. This is multiple times until an optimal result is achieved.

We love working with Jordan Eubanks, who paints portraits of famous sneakers and then sells the originals and prints online. Here we're making direct prints onto aluminum. First, we scan the original paintings in high resolution and then use the file to make prints on aluminum or foam core.
