In 1997 we built and installed the University Heights city sign. The sign has been an icon of the neighborhood for almost 30 years now. University Heights Community Association (UHCA) shared some amazing photos from the installation in March of 1997. This year we had the opportunity to replace all the neon for the letters and some of the border units as well. As part of the repair we had to replace some of the transformers, all of which are original from the 90s. The sign is still running on some of the original transformers which is incredible.

We love preserving neon signs especially the ones we build. Almost 30 years ago we built and installed this sign in University Heights in San Diego. All these years later it’s amazing to see the appreciation and care of the community.

20+ million LEDs meet 1930s architecture. 🚆

YESCO recently helped modernize Los Angeles Union Station with 15 custom high-resolution LED displays installed throughout the historic terminal's waiting room, concourse, and passageways.

Some of the displays stretch nearly 25 feet wide, with ultra-fine pixel pitches designed to keep train schedules, bus information, wayfinding, and station updates sharp and easy to read for travelers on the move.

The challenge? Union Station is an 87-year-old historic landmark, so all that new technology had to integrate with the existing architecture without taking away from the original tilework, finishes, and character of the space.

It's a great example of what thoughtful signage can do: modernize the experience without losing the history.

We built the iconic Coachman’s sign in Salt Lake City in the 1970s. In 2021, the restaurant closed, and the future of the sign became uncertain. We were honored when Liberty Wells Community Council came to us with a plan to save the sign. With the help of the community, enough money was raised to remove and store the sign until a new home can be found. The community is actively looking for a new home to put the sign in Salt Lake if anyone has any ideas..

We truly believe and hope neon will always have a place in the sign world and we will always advocate for preserving historic signs while exploring ever changing sign technology. You might have seen us every night for the last year on the corner of Flamingo and the Blvd. This is what we were up to. We designed and built one of the tallest freestanding signs in the world. Huge shout out to and for being incredible partners on this project.
