Almost all email marketing servers use Amazon servers - or start at several hundred per month - so there's no in between for small businesses.
Station will aim at decentralizing email marketing servers over the years, and in the meantime, will be using Brevo's email servers, which are located in the EU - a combination of Google Cloud servers (sorry) - but in the Belgium region! and Brevo's On-Premise (local) servers - which are primarily in France, and some in Germany.
If Brevo continues it's commitment to privacy (not just because of EU laws) we may continue using their enterprise servers - but I personally would like to also have the option of using our own servers for email marketing.
Station is going to be the Sovereign Decentralized All in One Platform - which you can migrate away from anytime without having to rebuild from scratch - but probably won't want to ;)

Despite all my excitement about Fediverse social networks again, I'm still working on The Station - Privacy First Platform
The biggest thing I'm focusing on this week is reviewing the Funnel, Storefront, and Affiliate functions - to make sure they're all integrated.
I may be rolling in the Storefront/Commerce functions into the core as well as affiliates to keep things simple. That will also mean an upgrade in speed and site resources on the core plan at no extra cost!
This will mean Core plan replaces ClickFunnels, ActiveCampaign AND Shopify - just to name a few.

Alright - small update - we're delayed thanks to an Interface glitch 🙃 The foundational functions are built out and working, just unfortunately don't have anything to show or test out yet.
So little bit delayed, by about a month - but please stick around, we promise it will be worth the wait!
