One of the hard truths about changing your body at all is that you’re going to have to start saying yes or no to things you may not want to.

You’re going to have to say yes to putting forth the extra effort to get that last serving of veggies in or to get to the gym when you’re tired.

You’re going to have to say no to having some of those extra drinks when you’re out with your friends.

Regardless of whether your goals involve getting stronger, losing body fat, or just getting jacked, the fact that you’re not there right now means you’re gonna have to change some behavior patterns, and that’s hard.

This is not to place a judgment value on that fact. If you don’t want to add ten pounds of muscle mass, you probably aren’t going to focus on your protein intake. That’s ok. Everyone has different goals.

I think that’s the hardest thing for people to realize, not just in fitness. If you want change, it takes work. It’s hard. It’s a struggle. But you know what? It’s pretty cool when you get there.

One of the many questions I get when I’m doing my live stream workouts is, I don’t have a ton of space to do big movements. What are some modifications for it?
Doing a move in place is the perfect answer. Whether you live in a 400 square-foot apartment, or have acres of land in your backyard, you can make a workout happen anywhere you are. Especially my body only workouts!!
This is a great tool also for those who do not feel comfortable coming into the gym as cases begin to rise again. Now let’s show up for ourselves, take time to focus on you and let’s crush the remainder of this week!!
