It has come to my attention that there is a golf tournament going around in “honor” of my dad (Russell McDaniel). the person who is the face of it and is collecting money on said tournament is the same woman who has stolen money from my dad countless times, and the same woman who stole 9 thousand dollars from ME that was supposed to go towards my college tuition. i’m bringing this here because i have a platform, and my dads name has a HUGE reputation and i won’t let her ruin either of them. if you come across this tournament, please report the post and do NOT send anyone any money until there is an official tournament that is sponsored by his wife and kids. we DO NOT give her permission to use his name to collect money for this tournament and without our permission it is illegal in Texas.
i’m using my platform to bring awareness to this situation because i’m unsure of what else to do and i don’t want my dads name used for something he would never be okay with. Before he passed away he told us exactly how he wanted this tournament to go, and she is not honoring him by doing it her way. The golf course and everyone else involved has already backed out and she will not step down.
