Working on a series based on my grandfather’s stories from WWII. He fought with the Partisans in Yugoslavia.

This drawing depicts one of his stories: he was shot at by the N***s, but the bullet missed him and caught his coat instead, ripping the bottom of it off.

• Getting shot in the hand
• A bomb exploding, with shrapnel hitting his back

DEATH OF ME.

For a few years after winning the title in Thailand I continued fighting—not out of want, but out of routine. Now that I think that I am finished fighting this photo no longer stands.

The drawing depicts me getting the Mongkon head piece placed on my head before a fight (which is taken off right before the fight begins), but in the larger picture it’s a noose placed over my head, onto my neck.
