Firefighters are exposed to carcinogens every time they answer a call.

The truth?

Cleaning the gear isn’t enough if those toxins are still sitting on their skin.

That’s why this company created products designed to help remove those contaminants and protect the people who protect us.

That is what a real business looks like from the inside. Somebody found a problem that was hurting people they cared about, and building the solution turned into the company. The mission came first and the market followed.

That is why it feels like nothing is happening for so long. The decisions that changed my life were all boring at the time. A call I did not want to make. A morning I got up anyway. None of them announced themselves.

Somebody drew this as two clean roads with a sign posted at the split… The real ones don't come with a sign. The actual fork is a Wednesday where you either pick up the phone or you don't, and nothing about it feels historic. You only find out later that was the intersection. Which one are you picking today?

The question I get before every corporate booking is what the return looks like.

Fair question. Here's how I answer it.

We take your current numbers first. Dials per rep per day, conversations, appointments set, close rate. Then we agree which one we're moving and by how much before I ever show up.

If dials go from 20 to 60 and your close rate holds, you know exactly what that's worth to you.

Want the math on your own numbers? Send me your current dial average: https://drewbiewilson.com/sales-team-training/?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=page&utm_campaign=training-roi-2026-09

Growth isn't just about getting more customers.

It's about building something that can operate without everything depending on you.

Sometimes that means hiring people.

Sometimes it means stepping back into the work when something breaks.

And sometimes it means making sacrifices you didn't want to make.

The goal isn't to avoid the sacrifice.

It's to know what you're willing to sacrifice and why.

Build the business.

Take care of your customers.

Keep moving forward.

But don't lose sight of what you're building it all for.

What are you willing to sacrifice, and what are you not?

Slides don't change anybody. I could put the whole system on one screen and half the room would still walk out and do exactly what they did last week. So I quit trying to be impressive up there. Now I ask for ONE standard the team will hold each other to before the quarter ends. One is enough.

A room will nod at ten ideas and act on none of them. Give them one, make it specific enough to argue about, and put a date on it. One standard that everybody actually holds beats a whole system nobody runs.

What is the one standard your team would hold each other to?

Not every business you start has to become your life's work.

Sometimes it just needs to create enough cash flow to give you freedom.

I have watched people kill a perfectly good business because it was not impressive enough to talk about at a dinner. Cash flow does not have to be your identity. Sometimes it is just the thing that buys you the room to build the one that is.

What is the boring income that would buy you room to build the real thing?

The six months in the middle never make it into a post… That part is boring. Same calls, same follow-ups, same afternoon where the phone feels like it weighs forty pounds. Results like this get built right there, by somebody who kept showing up when it wasn't paying yet. That part is available to anybody reading this.

The middle is where the whole thing gets decided and it is the part nobody posts, because there is nothing to show. No number moved. No win to screenshot. Just somebody who kept going while it looked exactly like failure.

What are you in the middle of right now that nobody is clapping for?

What does a sales trainer actually do?

For us it's 4 things. Listen to real calls, rewrite the parts that lose deals, set the daily number, then hold managers to enforcing it.

That last one is where most engagements die. A trainer who leaves without teaching your managers how to run the standard just gave your team a fun afternoon.

We stay through the enforcement part, and that's what decides whether it's still running 90 days later.

The sales team wasn't the problem.

The script wasn't the problem.

The incentives weren't the problem.

The system was.

Agents were switching between seven different windows just to find the information they needed to close a sale.

So instead of coaching them harder, we fixed the experience.

Conversion rates went up 20%.

Sometimes the best way to help your sales team sell more isn't another training session.

It's removing the obstacles standing in their way.

Make it easier for your people to do their jobs.

Then watch what happens.

How many windows does your team click through to close one sale?

You already know what you're supposed to do today. That's the whole problem… Knowing and doing are two different jobs, and most people are great at the first one. This book is for the gap between them. It's the shove you've been waiting on. Get it at callthedamnleads.com

I have owned books I agreed with completely and never once acted on. Agreement is free. It costs you nothing and it changes nothing, which is exactly why it feels so good.

What is sitting in the gap between what you know and what you did today?
