I started my first business when I was 10 years old. I won't list all my entrepreneurial activities and jobs I had before I earned my college degrees. During college I spent 5 years at Venture Stores among other business activities. Then I worked 12 years at Motorola and now 37 years at Complete Computing, Inc.
Last night I told my team at Complete Computing that at the end of October 31 I will become the Past President and CEO of Complete Computing, Inc. I will remain a Consultant to the new leadership for a period of time. I will also continue to host The Complete Computing radio show and do some other radio.
I have hired and have worked with most the teammates I was with last night for over 30 years. They are family and I will miss working with them every day, but Complete Computing is in great hands with three veteran Complete Computing team members leading the company going forward.
I look forward to spending more time with my wife Barbara, our daughter Christine and son in law Matt, my two brothers and other family and friends.
In August, I returned to teaching college business courses as an Adjunct Business Professor at Newberry College in Newberry South Carolina. I was an Adjunct Business Professor at UALR for over 5 years, but had to take a break due to the demands of running a tech business after Covid. I have a passion for helping young people learn the academic and real world of business and organizations.
