Field Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on detention equipment, including doors, locks, key cylinders, cameras, and control electronics.
- Conduct repairs and installations as needed to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods in potentially noisy environments.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Adhere to safety regulations and pass background checks; maintain a drug-free work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Ability to learn new skills, including welding and metalwork, as required.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional overnight travel and willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be able to pass background check (no prior felony charges).
- Must be able to pass drug test.
- Valid Driver’s License.
