Met Trevor Cedeira at Climb to the Clouds watched him absolutely send it around Signal Corps getting his cross kart up on two wheels! Then learned he used to hang out at ClubLoose what a rad dude 🤙

It was a ton of fun at the Climb to the Clouds Hillclimb at Mount Washington, I always love an adventure North and it is even better when there is racing involved 🤙

Climb to the Clouds is one of those events everyone should try to get out to and experience. Between the incredible people involved, the variety of cars, and the beautiful northern mountains it is an event like no other!

I had a lot of trouble deciding which race car to post first and I shot a lot of them, but this first photo was the shot of the weekend as far as racing goes for me so far.

While at Climb to the Clouds everyone else was focused on the race cars, I was there checking out old VWs. Especially this rad Beetle!

Can’t believe Climb to the Clouds is sneaking up on me so fast, here are some shots a few months back from BOGSGART on the final stop of the cruise before the brewery/car show where you can see the beautiful Mount Washington!

Very shortly we will get to see racers racing up this mountain and for the first time in the races history it is fully paved so we will likely see some blazing fast record setting times!

I recently started reading Agents of Change The Story of DC Shoes and its Athletes by Eric Blehm
I started reading it because of the ties to Hoonigan and to learn more about the creativity that ultimately led to them doing cool s**t with cars.

The book introduced me to a world that I thought I knew a bit about but was never truly involved in and that is the world of skateboarding. I have always loved creativity and cars and knew that Ken tied in a lot of skate culture to car culture but didn’t realize how deep that went.

A lot of skateboarding was being creative for yourself and then giving that creativity back to the community so they can tweak it and make it their own and give more back to the community. A lot of people called Rodney Mullen the godfather of skate because he invented so many tricks that became staples and at least from my perspective he just loved creating and sharing that creativity with his community.

That really resonated with me, if you know me in real life you know everything I have worked on has been based around improving community. I built a media business around capturing rad car culture and sharing it, I built a merchandise business around giving back to the car community, in a world pandemic I showed the world that anyone could work on and modify their own car and make it unique to them, I am currently working on showing that anyone can go racing and am working on a project with my wife showing that you can build a business around supporting your local community (and while the business isn’t entirely car related it will be sure to also support the car community in a creative way)

I wish more people would look at the world this way, be creative, do cool s**t, and contribute to your community!

Anyway, here’s some photos from the winter of some rad cars on I’ve owned by people that I believe contribute to their communities in creative and rad ways, thank you!

How often do you get to go into someone’s shop and shoot a prototype 1 of 1 car? Now how about 4 of those in the same garage?

I have been blessed to have a handful of opportunities like this, but this was one of the first. I am going through old photos and I am sure I have posted the first one, but some of the others here never had the right “set” of photos to be posted with.

Now while the MK8 TCR is cool, the dual engine piles peak car was cooler and even cooler than that was the prototype Taxi that was built in PA that nobody knew existed! Also worth noting is the A59 a prototype rally car!

Going down the road of photos that I don’t believe I have posted before, before anyone really knew who I was as a photographer Polestar hired me for a handful of photos of their cars for socials, granted it was limited access and it was only in a parking lot, we made it work.

The weekend after that they started showing up to a cars and coffee that I used to go to regularly… maybe I should start going to small cars and coffees again let me know where you guys go!

Seeing people get all riled up about car shows has me reminiscing on old car shows. Truly where my skills as a photographer began after many car meets. Going through photos that I don’t think I have posted before I found this set of Heidi 🍃 from VAG Fair a while back.

I believe this was also show on my first camera before I even really knew how to use it!
