A new phone scam, particularly targeting businesses is currently making rounds.
The caller claims to be from a company called Billgo, claiming to represent your customers who use billpay to pay services. The caller claims they are wanting to switch over to a virtual credit card rather than mailing a check. However, when pressed could not name a single customer, nor bank that was using bill pay. They rattled off well known banks like Chase and Wells Fargo...
Please do not give these scammers your banking information!!!! Tell them you'll take a check. They sound very legitimate, but do not give out your information.
