What happens after a successful exit?

For many Nebraska founders, building and selling a company isn’t the end of the story. It’s the beginning of a new chapter—one shaped by investing, mentoring, launching new ventures and helping other builders succeed.

At the 2026 Tech Nebraska Summit, After the Exit: What Nebraska Builders Do Next will bring together leaders who have navigated that transition:

• Moderator James Linder MD
• Panelist Dusty Davidson
• Panelist Paul Hogan
• Panelist Amy Johnson

They’ll share what they learned while scaling their companies— Flywheel, LifeLoop and Home Instead—what surprised them about the acquisition process and how they’re reinvesting their time, capital and expertise in Nebraska’s innovation economy.

Join us Oct. 21 at CHI Health Center Omaha to hear what comes after the exit—and how experienced builders are helping create the conditions for Nebraska’s next generation of companies.

AI isn’t just changing the tools professional services firms use. It’s changing how work gets done, what clients expect and how organizations think about talent, technology and innovation.

At Tech Nebraska’s Q3 Tech Talk, we’re bringing together two Nebraska technology leaders from organizations with global reach to talk about what that transformation looks like in practice: Justin Webster, Chief Technology Officer, HDR and Jered Morris, Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, Olsson.

Justin and Jered will share where their organizations are deploying AI and emerging technologies today, what they’re learning along the way and how they’re thinking about what comes next.

An exciting new chapter begins for Tech Nebraska.

Effective Sept. 1, 2026, Tech Nebraska will become an independent, member-driven statewide technology association, building on the strong foundation established in partnership with the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

As we take this next step, our focus is on what comes next: strengthening Nebraska’s technology and innovation ecosystem through advocacy, statewide programming, industry leadership, and connections across business, government, academia, and entrepreneurship.

Our commitment to our members and partners remains unchanged, and our work continues uninterrupted.

We’re grateful to the Nebraska Chamber for its partnership and to Silicon Prairie News for sharing the story of Tech Nebraska’s growth and what comes next.

The statewide tech association and lobbying organization was started in partnership with the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Now, it will pursue growth in tech advocacy and membership with an independent voice while still working with the chamber on common causes.
