Training Center Now Available!

We're excited to announce the release of our new Training Center module, now available for all Package 1 and Package 3 website clients.

The Training Center is a portal that allows your department to manage training presentations, quizzes, certifications, and reporting in one convenient location. Members will see a new Training Center link in their Members Area menu.

Key features include:

🔥Host training presentations built from your own uploaded slides, or embed PowerPoint presentations, Google Slides, and YouTube videos.

🔥Create custom training quizzes with automatic grading of multiple choice, multiple response, and true/false questions. Plus short-answer questions reviewed by your training officer.

🔥Auto-generate PDF completion certificates for presentations and quizzes.

🔥Track certifications and receive automated reminders before certifications expire. Members can even submit their own certifications for approval.

🔥Set an annual training-hours target and monitor progress with the compliance dashboard, member leaderboard, and a variety of reports.

Training doesn't have to be managed by an website administrator. You can give your training officer access by assigning them the Training role on the Website Managers page.

As this is a brand new feature, we welcome your feedback. Your suggestions will help us improve the Training Center and ensure it meets the needs of all our clients.

Members can quickly write news articles and upload photos through a simple, user-friendly interface in the Members Area. Once submitted, each story is reviewed and approved by an officer or administrator before it is automatically published to your public website.

The News Stories module also includes powerful social media integration. Departments can automatically push news stories to Facebook, pull Facebook posts directly onto their website, or use both features together to keep their website and social media synchronized with minimal effort.

Need help writing? The built-in AI News Story Assistant helps members quickly create professional, well-written articles by transforming basic incident details into polished news stories, saving time while maintaining a consistent, professional appearance.

Instead of relying on one person to keep your website updated, the News Stories module allows your entire department to contribute, making it easier to keep your community informed and your website active.

Weekly Feature Spotlight: 2-Factor Authentication

Protect your department's members area with an extra layer of security using 2-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Your members area contains important department information that isn't meant for public access, including member contact information, announcements, training records, schedules, documents, forms, and other internal resources. 2-Factor Authentication helps keep that information protected by requiring more than just a username and password to sign in.

Even if a password is stolen, guessed, or reused from another website, 2FA helps prevent unauthorized access by requiring a second verification step before a member can log in.

Firehouse Solutions gives departments the flexibility to:
• Allow individual members to enable 2-Factor Authentication on their own accounts.
• Require 2-Factor Authentication for every member through a global setting managed by our team.

Benefits of enabling 2-Factor Authentication include:
