Update 11:38 am: Most of Lenox electric customers should be back on. If you are not, please call the office to let us know. We are currently running on our generators to keep the town powered until further notice. Thank you for your patience while our employees work to get our customers working again!

Lenox had quite the wake-up call this morning with the storms! ⛈️

There are still some areas of Lenox without power. LMU crews are currently out assessing the damage and will be working hard to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

If you see a downed power line or branches on an electrical line, please call the LMU office at 641-333-2550 to report it. The more information we receive, the faster we can identify and repair problem areas.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our crews work through the storm damage. Please remember to stay away from any downed power lines and treat them as energized.

8:51 pm-The Internet is back up! If yours is not working, try to reboot your router (unplug the power supply to the back of the router for about a minute and then plug it back in).

7:44 pm-LMU Internet is down. We are looking into the issue. I will update as soon as I know more. Thank you for your patience!

Water Quality Report

Lenox Municipal Utilities has released its 2025 Water Quality Report. The report will not be mailed to individual customers. Copies are available for public viewing at the Lenox Municipal Utilities Office, Lenox City Hall, Lenox Public Library, Lenox Post Office, and on the Lenox Municipal Utilities website.
