Mosaic ATM has been awarded a NASA Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to develop a software service that enables AAM operators, fleet managers, vertiport operators, airspace managers, and other stakeholders to detect, assess, coordinate, and execute safe responses to off-nominal events.

ROSA will include communications frequency monitoring, digital twins, and fused data sources to accomplish its mission. It will detect disruptions and consider many mitigations and their feasibility, safety, and performance impact before recommending solutions.

Mosaic ATM’s Wait for Park Monitoring Solution is now supporting 30 airports nationwide, giving airlines greater visibility into what happens after an aircraft reaches the gate area.

Operational since 2023, the solution detects when aircraft reach the gate but cannot park because marshaller guidance is unavailable, improving gate visibility and reducing avoidable delays.
