CMS, HHS, DOL, and Treasury finalized major updates to the Transparency in Coverage rules.

The changes should make payer pricing files easier to find, easier to compare, and more reliable to use, with updates around network-level reporting, new context files, expanded out-of-network reporting, file discovery, quarterly updates, and accuracy attestations.

This is real progress. Now the market will be watching to see what enforcement actions follow.

We're thrilled to see CMS pushing price transparency forward.

The new Transparency in Coverage updates should make payer pricing data easier to find, compare, and use. Stronger enforcement signals are encouraging too.

Time will tell if the government steps up, but this is real progress. We're excited to see the data start flowing.
