I built a Claude-powered job search tool and I need real job seekers to put it through its paces.

Here's how it works:
1. Claude helps you build a job search profile (this is the setup)
2. It scans job boards and returns jobs it thinks you could be qualified for
3. You get a spreadsheet of skills Claude inferred — you fill in years of experience and last used, and use it to track your application progress
4. Review Claude's recommendations and refine your profile (with Claude's help) for better matches next time

It's a feedback loop that gets sharper the more you use it.

The details:
• First-time setup: about 30 minutes
• After that: review recommendations to improve your profile and track applications in the spreadsheet at your own pace
• Local testers only for now (KC metro / Leavenworth)
• To run it at home, you'll need Claude Pro ($20/mo)
• No Pro? No problem — I can run a scan for you remotely once a week

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce GeekAmu.

I started GeekAmu to help people and small businesses use technology, software, and AI to solve real-world problems in a simple, practical way.

A lot of people have ideas or things they want to improve, but don’t always know where to start or don’t consider themselves “techy.” My goal is to make that process easier and more approachable.

One of the things I’m currently working on is TreasureAmu, which helps people turn unused items into extra cash with support from a community.

I’ll be sharing tips, ideas, and things I’m learning along the way.
