This MacBook came back ONE WEEK after we replaced the battery.
So of course the first question was:
**Did we mess something up?**
Or…
**Did we get a bad battery?**
The customer was having charging problems again, so we brought it back onto the bench and started testing.
We checked:
🔋 The replacement battery
⚡ Charging behavior
🔌 Power connection
🧪 The charger itself
And the problem turned out to be something completely different.
❌ It was NOT the new battery.
❌ It was NOT the repair.
✅ **It was the charger.**
The MacBook itself was fine.
The replacement battery was fine.
The charger was the part causing the problem.
This is exactly why we test instead of assuming.
When a machine comes back shortly after a repair, it is easy to immediately blame the part that was just replaced.
But sometimes the timing is just coincidence.
💡 Same symptom does NOT always mean same problem.
In this case:
✅ Battery tested good
✅ Previous repair checked out
✅ Bad charger identified
✅ MacBook back up and running
And yes…
For a few minutes there, we definitely wondered if we had messed something up. 😄
