Please review the following intake and service information before leaving your device with Phoco Services. We ask that all customers carefully read these terms and ask any questions before signing.
At Phoco Services, we are committed to providing professional, honest, and affordable service. While we do our best to help every customer and accommodate special situations when possible, all repairs, services, and policies are handled as part of our business operations and standard service procedures.
Phoco Services โ Service Intake Terms & Conditions
1. Authorization for Service
Customer authorizes Phoco Services to perform diagnostic testing, repair, and/or maintenance on the submitted device. This may require disassembly and replacement of parts.
2. Diagnostic & Repair Fees
A diagnostic fee may apply and is non-refundable.
Estimates are based on initial inspection and may change if additional issues are found.
Customer approval will be requested before exceeding any quoted amount (if applicable).
3. Data Loss Disclaimer
Customer acknowledges that:
Repairs may result in partial or complete data loss.
Phoco Services is not responsible for loss of data including photos, contacts, files, or applications.
Customer is responsible for backing up all data prior to service.
4. Warranty Policy
Most repairs include a limited 1-Year Warranty on parts and labor (unless otherwise stated).
Warranty does not cover:
Physical damage (drops, cracks, impact)
Water or liquid damage
Tampering or third-party repairs
Warranty is limited to the original repair only and does not cover unrelated issues.
5. Parts & Replacement Disclaimer
Replacement parts may be OEM or high-quality aftermarket parts depending on availability.
Some features (such as Face ID, Touch ID, True Tone, etc.) may be affected by certain repairs.
Phoco Services is not responsible for manufacturer restrictions affecting functionality.
6. Unclaimed Devices
Devices not picked up within 30 days of completion will be considered abandoned.
Phoco Services reserves the right to:
Charge storage fees
Recycle or dispose of the device
7. Water-Damaged Devices
Water-damaged devices have no guarantee of full recovery.
Additional failures may occur after repair due to corrosion.
No warranty is provided unless explicitly stated.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customer agrees to:
Remove SIM cards, SD cards, and personal accessories before service
Provide accurate device information
Provide passcodes/passwords if required for testing (optional but may limit service)
9. Liability Limitation
Phoco Services is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Loss of data
Loss of revenue or personal/business interruption
Any indirect or incidental damages
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
Devices will not be released until full payment is received
11. Right to Refuse Service
Phoco Services reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including devices deemed unsafe or irreparable.
