SunPlus’s Mobile App department is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals for its Marketing and Sales team. Applicants should be interested in gaining valuable experience while learning and applying leading edge marketing/sales strategies. This role has the opportunity to provide exposure in many different areas of marketing/sales, from brand awareness and communication/PR to demand generation, marketing technologies, content creation, sales, and research and analytics.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with a 1 hour lunch
Candidates must work on-site
Responsibilities:
Works very closely with our Business Development Manager in reaching leads and scheduling appointments.
Make the sales/marketing call to potential leads.
Participate in in-person/virtual Demos and/or Product Presentations.
Seek out qualified leads using target marketing skills (Cold Calls and emails)
Be punctual and professional
Increase sales revenue
Obtain new consumer accounts
Participate in trade shows
Maintaining profiles and pages (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
Finding users to follow/friend/like our business
Tracking the growth and the impact of social media on our business
Replying to comments, messages, etc.
Report findings to the Manager
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Cold Calling Experience - Ability to make 50-80 cold calls a day
A self-starter, ability to multi-task
Clear professional, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Teamwork and problem-solving skills, a willingness to accept responsibility, ask tough questions, and have a pragmatic approach
Displays good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, with rapid change, and in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office.
Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.
Familiarity with key social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, etc , and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Proficient in branding and marketing
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or any other CRM is preferred.
Social media and building online communities is preferred.
