Your password is the front door. Two-step sign-in is the deadbolt.

Turn on 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for your email and your online bank accounts first. Those unlock everything else you own. Then, turn it on for every account tied to personal identifying information and with payment options tied in.

And if someone calls asking you to read them a sign-in code, that call is the scam. Hang up.

Speed you need. Service you deserve.

We’re excited to announce that two new areas in Collins and the Lake Mike Conner area are now open for DE Fastlink service!

Wondering if your address is included? Visit the Service Map on our website and enter your address in the search bar in the top right-hand corner. The map will show whether your address is in an area we currently serve or one where service is coming soon. If you are in an area currently open, click the sign-up button and get ready to receive the best fiber internet around!

We know that each time we share our service map, we hear from people who want to know, “What about my area?” We certainly understand the interest, and we wish we could bring DE Fastlink to everyone who wants it.

At this time, however, we do not have plans to expand beyond the areas shown on our current service map. Several factors determine where we can expand. One of the biggest is grant funding and the areas awarded through that process. In many locations, other internet service providers were awarded funding to serve those addresses, which means DE Fastlink is unable to build in those areas. We will include a link to the Mississippi BEAD map in the comments so you can check your address and see which ISP was awarded grant funding to serve it.

We appreciate the continued interest in DE Fastlink and are excited to welcome even more subscribers in Collins and Lake Mike Conner!

Scams don’t always look obvious anymore. The spelling is clean, the logo is right, and everything looks and sounds legitimate…except, the request seems out of place, odd, or unusual.

Before you click a link, scan a QR code, or share login codes, stop and ask yourself if the request sounds a little far-fetched. When in doubt, close the email or hang up the phone and call back the person in question on a number you have saved. No legitimate request will be so urgent that you can’t verify the truth behind it.

We are currently experiencing an internet outage affecting approximately 75 DE Fastlink subscribers around Soso Big Creek Road after county equipment came into contact with and tore down fiber lines.

Our crews are working to repair the damaged fiber and restore service as quickly as possible. Because fiber repairs require careful, detailed work, restoration will take some time. We appreciate the patience of those affected while our crews work to get everyone reconnected.

This incident is also an important reminder: Always look up before operating equipment.

Whether you’re raising the bed of a dump truck, operating an excavator, or other heavy equipment, take a moment to check your surroundings and look for overhead lines before you begin. Power and fiber lines can easily be overlooked from the ground, but contact with them can cause service interruptions, costly damage, and, in the case of power lines, serious injury or death.

Before you raise it, move it, or operate it—look up. A few seconds of awareness can prevent an outage and, more importantly, keep everyone safe.
