Use multiple shallow passes to gradually remove material. This reduces strain on your machine, extends tool life, and results in cleaner, smoother cuts, especially when working with hardwood or aluminum.

🧠 Tip of the Week:
If you’re using LightBurn or CutLabX, try setting your scan angle to 85°. This makes the galvo Y-axis handle most of the work, while the X-axis moves more smoothly, usually resulting in a much cleaner finish.
