It is with great respect and admiration that we announce the passing of founder and CEO of Vanguard Integrity Professionals, Ronn H. Bailey. Bailey was a pioneer in the world of information security applying the advanced techniques he learned while serving in Air Force Intelligence to his expertise in computer security. Bailey was driven by his patriotism for the United States of America. He was a proud veteran serving in Vietnam.
After establishing himself as one of the world’s leading experts in RACF, Bailey founded Vanguard in 1986 to serve as a leading provider of mainframe security education, professional services, and software for Fortune 1,000 organizations world-wide. Bailey was a true visionary, recognizing and defining critical components of cybersecurity before the term even existed. As a cybersecurity inventor and patent holder, Bailey was requested to help write the “Cyberspace Security Policy” for the Bush administration.
Instrumental to the success of Vanguard, was Bailey’s relentless commitment to customer service, and unwavering passion to make the technical world of mainframe security accessible to end users through automation and ease of use.
Bailey has been semi-retired for the past five years, and personally selected an executive management team comprised of over ten decades of security and senior management expertise. This team has and will continue to operate Vanguard with the excellence that established the organization as one of the world’s leading providing cybersecurity solutions.
