Chances are it’ll say yes every single time. Ask it to size your market, it’ll find a number that makes your TAM look fundable. Ask it to research your competitors, it’ll build a case that makes you look like the winner. Because AI goes in the direction you point it it’s programmed to help you, not to stop you. That’s exactly why confirmation bias has never been more dangerous than it is right now: you can end up with a beautifully researched, data-backed, convincing case for a completely wrong idea and feel like you did your due diligence the whole time. The fix? Use the same tool in reverse. Ask it: “Why will this idea fail?”, “Which competitor could beat me and why?”, “Who tried this before and what happened to them?” That’s where the real validation begins.
