A little look behind the scenes of building the GiftWell brand identity ✨
I think branding projects often look very effortless when you only see the final result, but there are usually hours of exploration, research, testing, refining, and second-guessing behind every detail.
From reviewing questionnaires and researching the audience, to finding the right fonts, testing color directions, creating logo variations, building moodboards, and refining concepts over and over again… every stage slowly helps the brand become clearer.
Sometimes the process looks a little messy in the middle. Lots of tabs open, unfinished ideas, tiny adjustments no one else would notice but that’s usually where the best direction starts to reveal itself (esp at 3am 🥹)
I’ve really come to appreciate how much branding is about patience and feeling. You can’t rush alignment. The right direction usually comes from giving ideas enough room to evolve naturally.
