Thank You for Your Support ❤️📸
As I take a moment to reflect on this journey, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported my photography and printing business. Whether you've booked a session, ordered prints, shared my work, recommended me to friends and family, or simply followed along and encouraged me, it truly means more than words can express.
Building a business is never something you do alone, and the support I've received from this community has been incredible. Every photo captured, every print delivered, and every opportunity given has helped me continue doing what I love.
I'm grateful for every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has trusted me to preserve memories and bring creative visions to life. Seeing so much support motivates me to keep growing, improving, and providing the best service possible.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me and supporting my dream. I look forward to creating many more memories with all of you in the years ahead. To my girlfriend who has really been the backbone of this shirt printing side. It has been a beautiful feeling seeing the growth and the clients she has been able to get on her own but we are getting there. Little by little.
📸❤️ With gratitude,
Andy Gonzalez Photography team

Throwback to the cotton bowl classic.

The Miami Hurricanes did the UNTHINKABLE for those outside of South Florida, defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes 24-14 in the school’s biggest game since both programs were on the same field almost 23 years ago. The Canes ended Ohio State’s season and advance to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.

Wishing Anicka Newell nothing but success as she continues her journey and pursues qualification for another Olympic Games this weekend at nationals.
Last year, we had the incredible opportunity to photograph Anicka, and it's an experience I will forever be grateful for. What stayed with us long after the photos were taken wasn't just her athletic ability—it was the story behind it all. Learning about her history, the sacrifices, the preparation, the discipline, and the relentless commitment required to compete at the highest level gave us a deeper appreciation for what it truly means to be a professional athlete.
The medals, records, and accomplishments are inspiring, but witnessing the dedication and mindset behind the scenes was something special. It's a reminder that greatness is built long before competition day arrives.
Thank you, Anicka, for allowing us to capture a small part of your journey. We're cheering for you every step of the way and wishing you the very best as you chase another Olympic dream. Looking forward to seeing the outcome this weekend. Go be Great 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The question : Will AI replace creatives in the upcoming years. The Answer is : The value of a creative goes far beyond simply producing an image or delivering a final product. A creative brings vision, problem-solving, innovation, and purpose to every project. While technology and AI can make certain tasks easier and faster, they cannot replace the experience, collaboration, planning, and imagination that go into building something unique from the ground up.
What makes creatives valuable is their willingness to challenge themselves. We work together as a team, developing concepts, building sets, overcoming obstacles, and finding new ways to create meaningful experiences. Sometimes those ideas require more time, effort, and investment, but the end result carries substance and authenticity that cannot be replicated with shortcuts.
In today's world, it's easy to generate a background with AI or settle for something that looks good enough for social media. However, true creativity creates lasting value. It produces work that can be printed, displayed, experienced in person, and remembered. It tells a story. It captures emotion. It creates a connection between the audience and the final product.
A creative's value is not measured by how quickly a project is completed, but by the thought process behind it, the attention to detail, and the ability to transform an idea into something tangible. We constantly push our minds to think differently, innovate, and evolve because that's what drives success. The creative process itself is where the value lives—turning imagination into reality and delivering results that stand the test of time.

Had the privelage to take pictures of La’Allan Clark daughter who is the edge coach of the University of Texas. LaAllan Clark joined the Texas Football staff as edge coach in February 2025.

Prior to Texas, Clark spent two years as a defensive line graduate assistant for Ohio State from 2023-24 where he worked with nine All-Big Ten defensive linemen.

Clark helped the 2024 Ohio State defense rank first nationally in scoring defense (12.9 ppg), total defense (254.6 ypg), yards allowed per play (4.19), touchdowns allowed per play and opponents touchdowns scored in the red zone (16) as the Buckeyes won the National Championship. Ohio State also ranked No. 2 in the nation in sacks (53), passing touchdowns allowed per game (10), and opponent red zone scoring percentage (.605), while ranking No. 3 in rushing defense (87.6 ypg), passing defense (167.0 ypg), and sacks per game (3.31).

Yesterday I had the privelage to take pictures of this future Texas athlete. She had game in her and her love for football has shown the little time she spent with us. From throwing the ball to posing with the horns. It was the cutest thing I have shot in a while. Looking forward to seeing little ones in the future. Hook’em 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

One of the questions I get asked more than usual is whether I only photograph college-level athletes. The answer is a huge no.
I would never turn my back on the athletes and families who helped build my business. While I’ve been blessed with opportunities to photograph college and professional athletes, every athlete means something to me regardless of their level. Every athlete has a story, a dream, and a journey worth capturing.
A perfect example is this team from NFL FLAG, operated by Prodigy Tees and owner Chente Robles. In my opinion, it is one of the best organized youth sports programs around. The structure, discipline, and respect shown by the coaches, athletes, and families is something special. One thing I truly appreciate is that when the game is over, the focus remains on the athletes and coaches. We've all seen how emotional sports can get, but it's important to remember that referees are human, coaches are human, and athletes are human. Mistakes will happen. Calls won't always go our way. That's part of the game.
Sports are about much more than winning. They're about discipline, learning teamwork, understanding plays, building character, and learning how to handle both victory and defeat with class.
This particular team was special for me to cover. Years ago, I photographed Jay Salas as a young athlete. I watched him grow, graduate, and now I've had the privilege of photographing not only his team but also his son. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do.
Photography has never been about chasing the biggest stage. It's about preserving memories, celebrating athletes at every level, and being part of their journey. Whether you're in youth sports, high school, college, or the professional ranks, I'll always bring the same passion, energy, and commitment to telling your story.
That's what Andy Gonzalez Photography is all about.

Another question I get asked a lot is, "Do you mimic other photographers?"
My answer is simple: No.
From the very beginning, I've worked hard to create my own style and identity. Could I mimic someone else's work? Of course. In all honesty, it's not that difficult to recreate a look or editing style if that's what you're aiming for. But that's never been what photography is about for me.
I believe every photographer should bring something unique to the table. That's what separates artists from imitators. Do I look at other photographers' work? Absolutely. There are incredible photographers out there, and I respect their craft. I use great images as inspiration, just like any creative person would. But inspiration is where it stops.
I enjoy experimenting, tweaking techniques, and constantly finding new ways to tell a story through my lens. I don't want my work to look like someone else's—I want people to see an image and immediately know it's mine.
At the end of the day, trends come and go, but your identity lasts forever. I'd rather spend my time building something original than chasing what everyone else is doing.
I like being me. I like creating my own path. And I like giving my clients something that is uniquely Andy Gonzalez Photography.

Another famous question I get asked is: "Is photography cheap?"
The answer is simple: it can be when you're first starting out. But when you're running a full-time professional business, things get expensive very quickly.
• Over $100,000 invested in photography equipment
• Over $75,000 invested in editorial gear and storage
• School and venue insurance costing over $200 every month
• More than $300 per month in software, editing programs, and plugins to continue improving our work and delivering the best possible product
And that's before factoring in employee wages, travel expenses, fuel, food, maintenance, taxes, storage, and everything else that comes with operating a business.
So when people ask, "Why is photography expensive?" this is why.
With inflation continuing to rise, the cost of doing business only gets higher every year. Yet here at Andy Gonzalez Photography, our goal has never been to be the most expensive. Our goal has always been to provide the best experience possible while giving back to our athletes, parents, coaches, and community.
One thing that will never change is our "No Athlete Left Behind" policy. If a coach reaches out and lets us know a player or family is going through a difficult time and cannot afford photos, we take care of it. No questions asked.
Because at the end of the day, this isn't just about photographs. It's about preserving memories, celebrating achievements, and making sure every athlete has the opportunity to be recognized.
That's how we've always done things, and that's how we'll continue to do them.
Thank you to every coach, parent, athlete, and supporter who continues to trust Andy Gonzalez Photography. We appreciate every single one of you.

One of the questions I get asked the most is, “Are you still available for shoots in Laredo?”
The answer is absolutely yes.

While my schedule can fill up quickly, I’ve been incredibly blessed to meet and work with so many talented athletes, families, coaches, and organizations throughout the years. Every opportunity to capture someone's journey is something I never take for granted.

To every coach, parent, athlete, and supporter who has trusted me with their memories—thank you. Your support has allowed my small business to continue growing, and I am grateful for every booking, recommendation, and kind word of mouth.

Laredo will always be home. My roots are here, and no matter how much travel photography takes me outside the city, I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities to represent where I come from. Traveling, meeting new people, and telling their stories through my lens has been one of the greatest blessings of this journey.

Whether you're looking for sports photography, senior portraits, media day content, team photography, or creative athlete sessions, I'm still here and always ready to help take your athlete's images to the next level.

Thank you, Laredo, for continuing to believe in Andy Gonzalez Photography. The best is still ahead. We are currently already booking for next season so don’t miss out and call me today to book. We love the fact that this is year 12 and I’ve been blessed to see some of my pre k kids graduate. Although I might feel old. It’s a great feeling being part of the journey. Cant share all the pictures I have but if you were part of year 2025-26.
