This National Co-op Month, we’re celebrating the members who make our cooperative community special!

Recently a lifelong Monroe County resident, Becky Highman, stopped by our connectSCP and South Central Power booth at the Monroe County Fair—fresh off her exciting appearance on the cover of the July issue of Ohio Cooperative Living magazine. Becky shared that she has been a South Central Power member for over 50 years and was thrilled to celebrate the milestone and pose with her magazine beside our connectSCP fiber internet banner.

The connection to our cooperative community runs deep for Becky. Her family member, Mason Landefeld, was awarded a scholarship this year and is attending Ohio State ATI.

We’re proud to serve members like Becky and grateful for the generations of families who make our cooperative community special.

This week is Fire Prevention Week, a good time to check your home's smoke detectors and think about how connected devices can add an extra layer of safety.
