Our team is currently test-fitting the instrument panel on a Cessna 177, making sure everything fits precisely before moving forward with the installation.

With the panel prepped and ready, it’s time for the finish. Our team is applying the customer-selected gray powder coat, followed by the baking process to create a clean, durable finish built for the cockpit.

We’re getting closer to a clean slate.

Our team is almost finished removing the old wiring and cleaning up behind the panel, preparing the aircraft for the new wiring harness that will support the

Garmin avionics going into this upgrade.
It’s the work you don’t always see once the panel is finished; but it’s a critical part of building everything the right way from the start.

Cessna 182 Upgrade | Part 2 ✈️🔧

The transformation continues.

In Part 2 of our Cessna 182 project, our team is working on the wiring installation for the new Axis system.

With the panel opened up, you can get a closer look at the work happening behind the scenes as the new wiring is routed, organized, and prepared for the next stages of the installation.

There’s a lot that goes into an avionics upgrade before the finished panel comes together and this is another important step in the process.

A New Project Begins ✈️

We’re excited to kick off another transformation here at Gulf Coast Avionics and this is just the beginning.

This panel is getting ready for a major upgrade featuring a Garmin G500 TXi Touchscreen Flight Display with EIS, GNX 375 GPS Navigator with ADS-B, GTR 205 COM, and brand-new instrument panels.

Friday Flight Test ✈️

A look at one of our final steps before delivery: a flight test together with the customer, where we demonstrate the completed work and put the newly installed avionics to work in flight.

This Cessna 414 was upgraded with an Aspen C3 System, S-TEC 3100 Digital Autopilot, and dual Garmin GTN Xi Navigators.
A great way to wrap up the week — completed installation, customer onboard, and everything in action. ✈️
