Staff Spotlight: Aiden Williamson, Back End Developer
I build software that takes the stress out of fundraising. At Silent Auction Pro, I focus on backend development that helps schools, nonprofits, and community groups run auctions and events without a hitchāso organizers can spend less time fighting tech and more time raising money for the causes that matter.
Since joining the team, Iāve thrown myself into the LAMP stack, picking up PHP fast and contributing from day one. My work ranges from SQL-driven reporting tools that give clients clarity, to feature updates and bug fixes that make the user experience smoother and more accessible. I thrive on collaboration, using Git and Jira to keep projects on track and ideas moving quickly from problem to solution.
My toolkit includes Java, Python, C++, PHP, SQL, and PowerShell, and Iāve applied it everywhere from building a calorie-tracking fitness app with real-time USDA data to automating IT cleanups at Baxter Credit Union. The common thread? I like tackling tricky problems, learning whatās needed, and leaving systems stronger than I found them.
